Columbus Veteran’s
Day Parade
The 2012
Veterans Day Parade will be held in downtown Columbus, Ohio November 9th at
noon. The parade will start at Nationwide Plaza (North High Street) and march
south on High Street, west on Broad to the disbanding area at Veterans Memorial.
Purple Heart
Memorial Dedication
Buckeye Chapter
500, Columbus, Ohio, Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) will be
dedicating their newly erected Purple Heart memorial at Motts Military Museum
on Veterans Day, November 11, 2012, at 4 p.m. It will follow Groveport's
Veterans Day Memorial Service at Veterans Park which starts at 3 p.m.
U.S. Army
Band and Chorus
The U.S.
Army Band and Chorus will be making a rare appearance here November 11, 2012.
The concert is part of the Military Veterans Education Foundation (MILVETS)
Veterans Day observance activities.

The Inaugural Columbus National Veterans Day Run will take
place at Wolfe Park . The event will offer three distances, a timed 11k run, a
timed 5k run and a 1 Mile family walk. If you'd prefer to just come out and
support our Veterans, we also offer a supporter option, 100% of which is
donated to our charity partner, Folds of Honor Foundation. We expect a large
turnout of Veterans and active-duty military to this race, including many
current and former Veterans, so come on out and support the men and women of our
armed forces.

On Sunday, Nov. 10 and
Monday, Nov. 11, all Bar Louie locations are offering veterans and military
personnel a free meal up to a $12 value.

November 11th, veterans and active duty military can choose from a free
signature Thank You Meal menu that includes some of Applebee’s favorite items,
